Every snake is one of a kind and hand sculpted from fine silver precious metal clay. A texture is added to each piece by hand before it's carefully formed into its serpentine figure. This particular snake has tiny sparkly cubic zirconias set in the clay as eyes and a cross hatched pattern running along the back. After the initial sculpture is made, the snakes dry and then are carved, shaped, and finally sanded. Once the clay is fired, the piece is fine silver and and the oval shaped frame can be added. A handmade bail is then soldered to the top and the piece is oxidized and polished. Hangs on a 1.5mm sterling silver snake chain, available in 16" or 18" lengths. Modeled on a 16" chain.
